Gippsland Music School offers instruction on a variety of musical instruments and we pride ourselves in getting to know you as an individual and create specific courses that are tailored to your needs.
Your educational journey is in safe hands. Our instructor has over 20 years educational experience in both the Government and Private Secondary education systems in the field of music. They are an accredited VIT (Victorian Institute of Teaching) member, Victorian Music Teachers Association member, AMEB (Australian Music Examination Board) member, as well as an active community ensemble musical director.
All classes cover not only instrumental skill building, but also theoretical and performance based learning to enhance your overall learning experience.
We teach all people, from children as young as 7 years, through to the more mature adult. We cater for all needs, from those who are just starting, through to those wanting to expand their musical knowledge at a more advanced level.
Musical instruments taught at GMS
Woodwind - Flute, Clarinet and Saxophone.
Brass - Trumpet, Cornet, Tenor Horn, French Horn, Baritone, Euphonium, Trombone and Tuba.
Percussion - Drum Kit, auxiliary percussion and Xylophone.
Strings - Banjo. Guitar, Bass Guitar, Ukulele and Violin.
Keyboard - Piano, keyboard and Piano Accordion.
